Natasha Ianchina Hansen

Hiya! I am Natasha, this is a showcase of my journey in game development—featuring projects, prototypes, and insights on bridging gameplay, design, and technology. More about me.

About Me

I’m a Games Technology graduate who thrives on pushing boundaries – whether it’s optimising speedrun routes, architecting game systems, or bringing teams together to create extraordinary player experiences.

Games

My love for games started with multiplayer experiences – there’s something magical about the way games bring people together, whether it’s collaborating on a difficult raid or sharing laughs over in person social deduction games.

My path to game development has been anything but linear. I started in Business IT, discovered a passion for RPA development at PwC, and eventually found my way to game development – a perfect blend of technical challenges and creative expression. Years of competitive gaming and speedrunning have given me a unique perspective on game design. When you’ve spent hours optimising routes and pushing game mechanics to their limits, you start to see games differently – both as a player and a developer.

Collaboration is Key!

I thrive in collaborative environments where ideas flow freely and everyone brings their unique perspective to the table. Whether I’m producing a game project, implementing gameplay mechanics, or brainstorming with a team, I believe the best results come from combining technical precision with creative experimentation. My experience ranges from crafting cozy puzzle games to implementing combat systems, each project teaching me something new about both development and myself.

The Future

Currently, I’m expanding my technical toolkit while staying true to my creative roots. I love diving into new engines and technologies, always with the goal of creating experiences that bring people together and push technical boundaries. When I’m not practising coding, you might catch me live on twitch streaming World of Warcraft, competing in dance, or theorycrafting new game mechanics – because who says you can’t be serious about development while having fun along the way?
